For Pocholo, the world is his classroom. That is why even after his formal schooling, Pocholo has attended numerous seminars both here and abroad to further his development as a youth leader, trainer and motivational speaker.
HAGGAI INSTITUTE ADVANCED LEADERSHIP TRAINING (MAY 2015)

In May 2015, the VoiceMaster has taken yet another great step in his career by being a scholar of Haggai Institute’s Advanced Leadership Training in Maui, Hawaii. Haggai Institute is the premier international Evangelism school for world Christian leaders, aiming to teach the values of Jesus Christ through evangelism and humanitarian efforts. Only established leaders in their own fields are qualified to apply for the 25-day, all-expense paid leadership training. After a rigorous screening process of more than 8000 applications, Pocholo was chosen to be one of the 60 delegates – and one of the youngest – from all over the world to attend the training.

Pocholo was a delegate on the International Conference on Youth Empowerment: A Cultural Exchange. The conference was organized by and held at the Department of Applied Social Studies at City University of Hong Kong on May 17-20, 2004. The four-day conference is a venue for the youth to share their ideas and experience for youth empowerment and development. The delegates systematically and academically present their studies or field experiences through presentations.

The International Youth Camp (IYC) has become an annual tradition of the Korean National Commission since 1996. IYC has enriched the lives of the youth through camp programs that foster international understanding and cooperation. Pocholo became a delegate of the 37th IYC in July 2002. With the theme “You can make a difference!” the camp strives to offer participants valuable opportunities to share knowledge and views of global issues and to experience social participation through 10 days of workcamp, cultural activities and discussions.

The Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program or SSEAYP is carried out primarily by the Office of the Prime Minister of Japan through the Management and Coordination Agency-Youth Affairs Administration, with the active cooperation of the participating countries involved. In the Philippines, the program is being implemented by the Office of the President through the NYC. SSEAYP is Pocholo’s first overseas travel and first international representation as a youth advocate. It opened the door to all his other international travels, as well as local and international awards. And the rest was history.
