Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales once again rocked a school as he talked about branding passions last July 27.
During the talk, he was able to inspire the students from the Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas.
No wonder, lots of students were so grateful and amazed by the motivational skills of the VoiceMaster as well as his knowledge.
In time for the rainy season, CreatiVoices Productions welcomed participants of VoiceWorx 25 with warmth, July 6.
A total of 28 individuals, including students, professionals from different fields, and voice over practitioners who want to have formal training on voice acting, joined forces and accepted the challenged. They embarked on a journey to learning the art of voice acting that will last for two months.
And to start this new journey right, they had an orientation. Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales and Brian Ligsay were the facilitators for the day.
And of course, they were given some instructions on what to do for the next two months. These were some things they have to remember and practice so they can perform well in the course of the training. Of course, it would be better if they would continue doing them even after the training.
Besides orientation, they also had their initial recording. It was some sort of diagnostics for them so the instructors would know on which aspect to focus for each participant. It was also their first encounter with the microphone, which would be their best friend for the next two months.
And since friendship also matters, they had some sort of “getting to know you” activity. It was for them to be more comfortable working with each other.
Indeed, it was a great way to welcome the workshop participants.
Granted the growth of the current Asian economy, will your brand grow or be eaten by it? This was the theme for the recently concluded National Marketing Conference 2013: Roar of the Tiger at Mariott Hotel Newport City Comple, Pasay City, June 27-28.
It was a project of the Philippine Marketing Association with the American Marketing Association.
The VoiceMaster participated in it. Known as a brand guru, The VoiceMaster learned more on those two days. He was also able to be different people like the former president, Fidel V. Ramos.
Two months packed with learning, fun, and thrill passed too quickly and finally, another batch of VoiceWorx is over. Now, another set of passionate individuals are ready to face the world, carrying the learning they earned through the country’s most comprehensive voice acting and dubbing workshop.
Watch out as another batch accepts the challenge and push their limits when VoiceWorx 25 begins

The Junior Executive Marketing Management Association (JEMMA) of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in San Pedro, Laguna, organized an event entitled “Expedient Digital Marketing” on January 8. Over 50 BSBA Marketing Management students attended the event to learn about Personal Branding from one of the personal branding experts in the country, Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales.
Filipino motivational speaker teaches Marketing students to discover their life purpose
Pocholo energized the crowd by starting off with humor, wit and a stream of hugot lines. He also gave a background on the voice acting industry, and explained how his company, Creativoices Productions, has helped paved the way for aspiring voice artists to get into what was once a monopolized and closed-door profession. Pocholo also amazed the students with his ensemble of voice impressions of famous celebrities, both dead and alive!
Pocholo then transitioned to the topic of Personal Branding. He started by citing examples of internationally-known brands that have become common words people use to refer to the actual product, such as Colgate, Scotch tape and Xerox and how these brands use the web to achieve more market, sometimes using expert web design and marketing companies as Indexer to help them with this. He then talked about personal brand, and how most people have unconsciously created a ‘brand’ in the minds of other people at the sound of their name.

But Pocholo gave the concept of personal branding a deeper meaning when he related it to one’s life purpose. Digital marketing is not just what you see at SERPninja. For Pocholo, it is imperative that you understand your WHY in order to come up with the brand that fits what you believe you are meant to do in this lifetime. Pocholo equipped the participants with simple yet profound questions to help them identify their life purpose. Towards the end of the seminar, Pocholo gave the students a few minutes to write a letter to their “future self,” in the form of a self-prophecy for their dreams and aspirations.
