The Council of Management Educators and Practitioners in the Philippines (COMEPP) invites you and your staff to the 25th National Convention on September 17-19, 2015 at the Apo View Hotel in Davao City.

The convention aims to bring together educators, practitioners, academicians, professionals and students to exchange insights and ideas on how we could best respond to the demands of the dramatically changing environment brought about by the K12 implementation and the ASEAN 2015 Integration. Specifically the convention aims to provide:

  1. updates to management educators and practitioners on relevant issues and emerging challenges in the teaching and practice of management;
  2. the stakeholders of Management Education with insights, information and ideas to enable us to examine and enrich our program focus, content, direction and relevance;
  3. a venue for the stakeholders of management education to benchmark and share best practices in teaching, research and related learning experiences to advance the teaching and learning of management; and
  4. insights on the ramifications of ASEAN 2015 integration on Philippine higher education institutions and challenges and opportunities that will advance the competitiveness of PQF (Philippine Qualification Framework) viz-a-viz ASEAN qualification framework through legislative agenda and CHED initiatives.

For this year’s convention, prominent personalities in government, business and industry, and academe were invited to share their ideas, insights, experiences and expertise on the convention theme.

For this year’s conference, focus shall be on the following topics:

“The Framework and Emerging Challenges of K12 Implementation and ASEAN 2015 Integration on Management Education in the Philippines”

“The ASEAN 2015 Its Implications in Management Education and Practice”

“Strengthening Research and Publication and Management Education: A Challenge to the Demands of the ASEAN 2015 Integration”

“The Philippine Qualification Framework and the ASEAN Qualification Framework a Basis for   Achieving Excellence and Innovation in Management Education”

“COMEPP’s Response to the Impact of the K12 Implementation and 2015 ASEAN Integration”
